About Me

My photo
In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. To find out about the work I am doing here visit www.tauf.org.uk (under construction).

Party Time

On Sunday 20th October 2013 I held a party for the children, three of the children have birthdays close together so I decided it would be better to do one joint party for all of them instead of four individual parties, less to organise and cheaper!

Altogether there were ten children who all had a great time, we had Silvamus & Davis, the twins I used to care for who are now living with their Father, Mama Musa's Granddaughter, Fatina, Mery's daughter Nasara and my friend's two children. Also lots of my friends showed up, we cooked Pilau and Chapati, the kids had a bouncy castle to play on and they played pass the parcel.
I made a girls cake and a boys cake and we sung happy birthday to all the children, everyone seemed to have a very enjoyable time :)

Now that is birthday party organizing done for the whole year!!
