Dear Family, Friends and other Readers,
After taking an unplanned break from blogging due to personal circumstances and a trip away I am now back and I aim to be even better than ever, updating all my wonderful family, friends and readers on the day to day fun and goings on of myself and my four amazing children.
On Thursday 10th October we celebrated Alfie's 'Gotcha Day' it had been two years since that amazing, beautiful boy came to be my son.
During those two years he has grown so much, when he first came to me he lacked confidence and had a nervous stutter, now that stutter has gone and his confidence is growing more and more every day.
To celebrate the occasion Alfie and I went out for lunch together, he got to choose the place and he chose a nice big pizza to eat, needless to say he was very happy.
Everyday I am so thankful for my wonderful family, I look back to my first days in TZ as a volunteer and how Alfie and I bonded, who would have thought then that several years later he would be my son?
Everyday he is growing and changing, his memory is the best I have ever known in a child, he truly amazes me.
Alfie, I love you more than I ever thought possible, you are funny, charming, handsome and every day you make me smile. You have grown in so many ways and it has been a privilege to be able to watch you, I am so glad that the past two years are the beginning to a lifetime together. I am always thankful and privileged that you chose me to be your Mummy xxx
I love you my boy xxx
