In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. Tarangire National Park











Whilst Krystina and Ollie were here we went on a one day safari, I was the guide, Adam was the driver and I am very sure Krystina and Ollie were content clients :-)



The Leopard, a rare sight!
We saw quite a few animals in quite a short time, including a leopard which is quite unusual.
A beautiful view


We saw many, many Elephants and at one point we were actually surrounded, some within touching distance, of more than 100 elephants, it was really quite incredible.

    Ahh, a beautiful place! I can't believe you guys saw a leopard! On my second safari I told the guide the only animal I really wanted to see was a leopard. We just missed one (the car in front of us saw it) and I was so disappointed. Guess I'll have to come back someday and try to spot one. The elephants, though, are always spectacular at Tarangire!
