About Me

My photo
In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. To find out about the work I am doing here visit www.tauf.org.uk (under construction).

Water Explosions

After that lovely BBQ we had round Jason & Aubree's house, the kids and I decided to go round and help with the leftovers!!

This was the first time they had had water bombs, they were
sinking their teeth in not knowing there was water inside
B's burst first & she was somewhat shocked!!
Oh How much fun they had soaking the chairs

Selemani looks distressed in this picture but believe me,
he was in fact having fun
B likes Alex the dog, Selemani half likes him but Nancy..
.not so sure!!
Two soaked children!
This is my fav picture, Nancy's face with Selemani in the background says it all!!
Thanks Aubree and Jason for good food, again, & an explosive time!!

  1. Wow, such a fun time! You're right, that last picture is just wonderful! Nancy's grin is always so infectious and Sele looks so surprised and joyful, too!
