About Me

My photo
In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. To find out about the work I am doing here visit www.tauf.org.uk (under construction).

Selemani & Helen!

Helen is getting on very well, gaining weight, gaining strength, she has so much more colour in her skin, she is more alert, trying to roll over, sitting up for a short time, smiling, giggling, its amazing what regular cuddles, love and food can do to a child!!

Love
Selemani and Helen are getting on very well, Selemani takes his big brother role very seriously, giving her cuddles, kisses goodnight and whispering when she is sleeping.

She is getting better at sucking but
only when it is juice!
