About Me

My photo
In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. To find out about the work I am doing here visit www.tauf.org.uk (under construction).

New Year Party

For New Years Eve this year we had a small party at our house, we had lots of food, good music, dancing and everyone had lots of fun. The children thoroughly enjoyed being able to stay up late and being surrounded by so many great friends and family.

After the children had gone to bed Ina stayed on and I think we sat up talking and having a few drinks until 4am, I then sat Skyping Laura & Khalid until about 7am then I walked over to greet the Neema House nannies who were going to work then I went home and slept for a couple of hours before getting up for the day.

It was such an enjoyable night...!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my friends and family from all over the world, may 2014 bring you happiness, good health, joy and laughter. Lots of love from the Upshall gang xxx
