In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. The Wonders of Rice

Sometime ago, September 28th to be precise, I made some rice for the children, quite a simple activity which I took from this blog http://justfordaisy.blogspot.com.au/2012/01/making-rainbow-rice.html they had so much fun playing with it. For those of you with children please click the link above and follow the instructions, like I said simple, cheap and quick and they had hours of fun, as long as you play with it on a clean surface you can sweep it up and reuse it too.
