About Me

My photo
In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. Christmas Time Mistletoe & Wine

We have had a wonderful time over the last few weeks getting used to being a family with Nancy. Selemani and Nancy are already arguing like true brother and sister. Nancy is so cheeky, I find it hard not to laugh at her when I tell her off most of the time :-) But we are getting along wonderfully as a family of three and with Dad still here, she is still getting used to being part of a family rather than part of an orphanage but things are going well!!

Here are some pictures of our Christmas together. We were joined by Mama Musa for Christmas Day, we had a typical English dinner which was yummy, a great day was had by all.
Oh Christmas tree oh Christmas tree, how tiny are your branches!
Eating Christmas breakfast on their new table
Selemani with his new truck, phone, bucket and shoes
Nancy engrossed in her new phone
Selemani very happy with his new truck
Helen with her gift from Father Christmas
Rest time with a Christmas movie
Watching Elf

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you all a happy and healthy 2012!
