About Me

My photo
In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. To find out about the work I am doing here visit www.tauf.org.uk (under construction).

Bath Time!!

Everyday Selemani is changing, becoming more and more settled, more and more cheeky, more and more naughty, every day I love him more and more.

Every day Helen is changing, getting more colour in her skin, growing fatter, becoming stronger and more inquisitive.

Every day their relationship becomes stronger, Selemani now likes to hold Helen's hand and give her cuddles. I know one day he will make a wonderful big brother.

Today they enjoyed a bath together, I must say Helen doesn't look to confident that a three year old is holding her in the bath but it is the first time she hasn't cried during bath time so I think she enjoyed it!!
