About Me

My photo
In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. To find out about the work I am doing here visit www.tauf.org.uk (under construction).

Snake Park

Mother & Son

Today Selemani and I went with friends to the snake park.
There are not only snakes at the park but also camels, crocodiles of all sizes, massive lizards, owls, a vulture and turkeys.
It was a very warm day and we all had a wonderful time.
We spent a while wondering through the animals then ate our lunch, we then went to visit the camels which you can ride but we didn't today. We then went back to the animals where it was feeding time and all the snakes had baby mice or chicks in their cages. We then had a look around a Massai Museum which was included in the snake park entry price.
Buddies
Amy then very kindly brought Selemani and I home, Selemani was NOT very happy when they left, he has a big tantrum!!
This was mine and Selemani's first day out, it was really lovely :-)

Whats this then?
The terrible twosome!!
