About Me

My photo
In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. To find out about the work I am doing here visit www.tauf.org.uk (under construction).

A House Full

We currently have a house full, Anna, who stays with us anyway, her two daughters who are on school holidays, Loveness is 13 & Happiness is 16, then their cousin Emmanuel who is, around 8 years old. Then this weekend we had Alfie's friend stay for the night also.

Today we went swimming.

As you can see from the collage above, we made several attempts at getting a group photo of the kids...it didn't work and these were only a small portion of the results yet we didn't even get one of them all looking and smiling together, kids eh!!

Still not smiling, but, I do really like the picture below.

I am the sort of person who just welcomes anyone into my house, as long as people respect the house and my property then they are always welcome.

Thanks for reading,

Hugs Mama Watoto x
