About Me

My photo
In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. To find out about the work I am doing here visit www.tauf.org.uk (under construction).

Today Was a Swimming Day

Today we went swimming, the children usually love to swim, Bella is a little fish, she just dives right in and jumps out and dives in again. Today however, she wasn't quite herself, she swam for a minute then got out looking dreadful, as the day wore on she got worse and was sick in the evening. I am hoping it is just a 24 hour thing but we will see how she goes through the night and tomorrow.

The extra little girl in the pictures is my friend's daughter Nice, she often comes to stay in the school holidays and the children get on so well.

Hugs, Mama Watoto x
