About Me
- Mama Alfie
- In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. Silvamus & Davis...part of the family!
I love all the babies at Neema House but particularly two very special little boys Silvamus & Davis, they hold a special place in my heart because when they were newborns they lived with me for two months, during that two months they were sick for one week, I actually thought we would lose Davis. I spent that whole week in hospital with them which just sealed our bond, I love these boys like I love my own. It seems my love for them has rubbed of on my children and many times they, particularly Alfie, asks if they can come upstairs and play in the evenings and of course I usually happily oblige. A couple of times the boys have even ended up sleeping in my bed, which of course they love.

Loved these boys, every time they saw me it was arms out stretched for a big cuddle, which I happily provided. xx
