In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. Big Feet & Gaining Confidence!!

The above two pictures are a huge achievement for Alfie, he has come such a long way in the time he has been living with me. The first time we ever went to this playground he point blank refused to do anything, crossing the bridge, going down the slide were all terrifying for him, we have been there a few times since and the other week he was straight up the climbing frame shouting 'Mummy, Mummy, look at me!' I am so proud of my big boy :-)

    Wow, Nancy (I mean, Layla) is so tall! Almost taller than Alfie! Great to hear this update and just love the top picture. :)
