About Me

My photo
In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. To find out about the work I am doing here visit www.tauf.org.uk (under construction).

PARTY!

When we visited B's family I found out her birth date, March 2nd 2010 so I decided to have a little belated party for her.
All the staff and children from Neema were involved and a few of my friends came with their children. The sun shone which is actually quite unusual for mornings these days. We had some snack bits and a bouncy castle and everyone seemed to have a lovely time.

I did a little bit of face painting!!

This was my second attempt but it worked in the end...
...but it fell apart when it got cut into

.

B wasn't quite sure what the gifts were for

Annie also got a pram & rag doll, something to call her own!
