About Me

My photo
In June 2011 I moved to Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa with the view of staying for one year. More than two years later and I have four beautiful Tanzanian foster children and there is no sign of me moving back to the UK. This blog was created as a way for family and friends to keep up to date on our life here and to see my little ones growing up, feel free to take a read and leave your comments. To find out about the work I am doing here visit www.tauf.org.uk (under construction).

The Last Pictures from Mum's Trip

Whilst Mum was here (unfortunately on Safari but in Tanzania) I celebrated my FIRST Mother's day. I got a call from Mum in the middle of the day saying, look in the red suitcase, inside were three cards (below) and two presents, a Mum mug filled with chocs & a Mum candle :-)
Thanks Mum & children!!

B doesn't look to pleased with this breakfast!
Mum saved this Whoopie cushion until right before she left, thanks Mum!
'Practising that thing called walking, it is rather fun when I keep falling on my  bum!'

Love this pic of my cheeky children
Haha

How many can fir in this small tub?

B is learning to sit at the table, she does pretty good!
The children are very lucky to have so many toys now
and on a final note, I found this wine in town & thought PERFECT!
